Tweed jackets have come a long way since they first became popular, and now a tweed blazer or sports coat is highly fashionable and worn both as everyday wear and for special occasions.

The basic tweed jacket is as its name says, made from tweed, a fairly thick rough and woollen like fabric. This makes it really hardy and able to withstand the elements, while keeping its shape and structure. These days that original tweed has become softer and is often mixed with other fabrics to give it even more comfort and style, and the weight and colours can vary enormously.

Sometimes the question arises, what is the difference between a tweed jacket, tweed blazer and a tweed sports coat? In essence, they're all the same thing, historically each were slightly differently tailored or use for different kinds of events, but nowadays generally there's no difference apart from someone's preferred title for them.

Tweed jackets can be worn with matching trousers and a waistcoat if you want a 3 piece suit, or just pair it with chinos and a shirt for a more smart casual or business look. That's really the beauty of a tweed jacket, it just works so well with most things.

Good quality socks at a much reduced price. All I would say is that despite being a 6-11 size, if you have smaller feet you might be better getting the 4-7 size, if available. That being said they may shrink a little, but I cannot fault the quality.
